Waiting to Move

It was a week ago Friday that we signed the papers for the house we are going to rent here in Aix. However, we can't move in until October 1st! So we are waiting to move. We moved out of the Portells' home last Saturday (we are so grateful they let us stay with them--and grateful that McKenna let us stay in her room while she shared a room with McGwire). Since we can't move into our own home yet, and staying in a hotel would be very expensive, we moved into a guest house here in Aix owned by another mission agency. It is in a great location, we have free internet, a washer & dryer, and a kitchen so we don't have to eat out all the time.

This week our container finally arrived! It was like working a giant 3-D puzzle to get our belongings into our storage unit with the furniture that we already had here in France. Our storage unit in now very tightly packed and very full!! Lucky for us we get to wait almost a month before we get to move it out of the storage unit and into our house:)

Thanks so much for your prayers for our container to arrive & that we would find a house! Please continue to pray for us as we keep stabbing away at the language (and I do mean stabbing--the other day I knew I was butchering every word & sentence that came out of my mouth, but I didn't know how to fix it).
